Over this past financial year the
Trustees of the Alexsan Kopano Educational Trust
remain unchanged.
In December 2006 we celebrated the 20th anniversary
of the organisation, which gave us the opportunity
to recall since 1986 our history and the many
community developments achieved over these
interesting and fulfilling years. Pictures taken on
the day and the report presented can be found on our

The activities of the Educational Trust continue to
be project related and fall under four main
headings:
- Project development work carried out by the
National Facilitator
- Computer studio courses carried out by the
computer studio teams
- Library and Youth Activities
- Alexsan/Life Line Office
Our warm thanks go to our ongoing project funders
being EED Germany, Cummins Corporation, Toyota South
Africa and the Anglo American Chairman’s Fund. The
Department of Arts and Culture with the Lottery
assisted us to run a Provincial Programme in 5
disciplines in the Arts and the Provincial Mosadi Wa
Konokono Awards through GOMACC (Gauteng Organisation
of Community Arts and Culture Centres).
The various projects will share their activities in
their own sections below.
