LIBRARY PROJECTS
During the course of this year our role in
the library has been reduced however the youth
are still utilizing the Learning Chanel DVD’s
and we continue to maintain the internet café
for the youth.
MINDSET PROJECT
The Mindset Project is funded by an
organisation in the Netherlands. Their current
focus is to give development opportunities to
three female students in South Africa. Over the
past period one student achieved her Human
Resources qualification with the Institute of
People Management studying through UNISA – she
has now moved on to study with the South African
Institute of Management (SAIM). The second
student completed a short course with Damelin in
Marketing before commencing her studies with the
SAIM and the third student immediately started
with the SAIM and has passed her first set of
exams with the second set to be written
mid-year.
We are most grateful to Mindset for giving these
three students this opportunity to further their
studies and career.
